Welcome to Irish Vegetarian.com, a resource for vegetarianism in Ireland.

Ireland is not exactly reknowned as a vegetarian or vegan haven. Irish meals have traditionally consisted of "meat and two veg" with the emphasis on the meat. This has changed somewhat but being a vegetarian in Ireland does require a bit more effort, planning and research when food shopping or eating out. Our aim is that this website makes this a bit easier.
